What is manifesting
Manifesting is different from prayer. There are plenty of articles on this one versus that one. I’m not a one-or-the-other kind of person. I think together they are powerful.
Prayer is asking for divine help. It calls upon the higher power you believe in to assist you in whatever you need.
Manifesting is bringing something into existence through thoughts and feeling. It’s creative and inspiring. It is the faith the prayer is being answered.
The Law of Attraction suggests positive thoughts get positive results. Be careful because it also means negative thoughts attract negative results. Your thoughts and words have power -I’ll tell you more about this in an upcoming blog.
Since I live in a rural Texas area that needs rain for crops and livestock, I’ll use rain as an example.
Prayer: God, I pray for rain today…. Please bring us rain to quench the thirst of the land filling the ponds and allowing the grass to grow….
Manifesting is your belief the rain is here. You feel it in your heart. You can smell it in the air. There is a feeling of it hitting your skin. The squish of the saturated earth can be felt beneath your feet. You see full ponds and the barns filled with hay. You feel it like it already happened.
(Fun Fact: last night, after working on this blog for two days, we had a storm come through)
Manifesting from your heart vs your head
Brain thinking wants logic and proof. It wants to know how it will be done.
Manifesting does not get tangled in the weeds of how. Instead, it allows for unbridled imagination and creativity.
Manifesting from the heart brings what is desired in a truly divine and incredible way. You receive what you’ve manifested in a way you didn’t know could happen, and it’s so much more. Click here to learn about the heart chakra and how to tune into this energy.
It’s the job or a better job than the one you imagined, the perfect hours and pay, and some other perks you didn’t see coming because you didn’t restrain it to your mind’s logic.
Divinity is so much greater than your thoughts. And, when it comes to you, you will feel it in your heart.
How to Manifest using your Heart Chakra
Finding a place free from distractions. Take deep breaths, inhaling and exhaling through your nose. Connect to your heart chakra energy by imagining everything that helped you locate this energy, as described earlier in this blog.
Sit for a time and let this feeling grow. With each exhale, feel it expand from your chest, through your body, into your surroundings. As far as you can imagine, let it grow. Then, from this feeling, create what it is you desire without using logic/thinking of the how. Time and money do not exist here.
The only condition is that it does not cause harm. Remember you manifest from your heart: the place of love, joy, compassion, and selflessness. Manifesting harm means you are attracting harm to yourself.
Create a knowing so strong that you can taste, smell, hear, and see it. Believe it. Stay in this moment as long as you can. Attract it to you.
When you are done, give gratitude. Be genuinely thankful and appreciative, as it is already happening.
From this same place you can also write it out or create a vision board.
Repeat this as often as you feel inspired. Hold a place for it to come into being. Suppose you begin feeling doubt, fear, anxiety, etc. Explore those feelings. Why are you feeling that way? Work through them, so they do not take the space you are holding for what you are manifesting.
Manifesting a better tomorrow
My inspiration to take a deeper dive into the Heart Chakra and manifest from this space comes from this month being Charlie’s Birthday and the 3/21 pledge. The 3/21 pledge is a fundraiser for a non-profit organization called Ruby’s Rainbow that raises money for scholarships for students with Down syndrome for post-secondary education. The date, 3/21 is World Down Syndrome Day
Charlie was raised at a time when my parents had to fight to get him into public school. There was no inclusion or possibilities for college. I have known Ruby since she was young and watched first hand as her family manifested Ruby’s Rainbow into the supportive, loving, inclusive organization and community it has become.
There is no better example of manifesting from the heart than Liz’s belief in her daughter and the goodness of the people on this planet. If you would like to donate to this year’s pledge, please click here. Suggested donation amount is $21.
Healing Your Heart Chakra
If you have trouble manifesting from your heart, contact me to schedule some time to talk. Reiki sessions are also beneficial for working through blocks and imbalances.
You can begin to work on healing your Heart Chakra by:
- Using Rose, Tarragon or Jasmine essential oils in a diffuser or in your bath water
- Drink tea infused with Thyme.
- Carry Jade or Rose Quartz gemstones with you
- Say Affirmations: I lovingly accept myself as I am. My heart is open to give and receive love. I am grateful for my ability to love unconditionally. Repeat these often, especially if they feel uncomfortable.
- Spend time in nature – for us rural folks, this does not include outside chores.
- Listen to music that touches your heart
- Wear green
- Cobra pose is a good yoga pose for the heart chakra
